So I have a story for you. But, I am forewarning you that it isn't as
good as Gretchens. Although, it has to do w/ my disappearing act the
last few days. It's quite magical!
It all began on the day of Satur. I woke up w/ a sore
throat. I just thought it was the common cold. As the day
went on, my throat became worse. It was to the point where I had
trouble breathing. I started coughing profusely on top of things.
Of course, my cough got worse (much much worse). I ended up going
to the emergency room. Why you ask? Well, it's probably
because I started coughing blood. Yeah, fun! So I went straight
in and met with the doctor immediately. He gave me this medicine
that looked like vomit, seriously. It was the most disgusting
thing I have ever drank. Ew, I am grossed out just thinking abou
it! Anyways, that made me stop coughing and actually made my
throat feel better. After many tests, the doc came to a
conclusion that I had acute sinusitis. Basically, I have a
horrible sinus infection. There was so much drainage built up in
my throat that it became extremely irritated. Eventually, making
it raw and therefore the coughing and bleeding began. I came home
from the hospital and crashed.
Woke up Sunday morning, and I felt worse. Well all the built up
drainage left my throat and went into my chest. So, not only was
my throat killing me, I had severe pain in my chest. Oh and a
great amount of pressure in my head. I started the antibiotics
and decongestants and had hope that I would be feeling better.
But, I did not. Not even in the slightest bit. Then Sunday
night and into Monday morning I became extremely sick (i.e.
vomiting). The chance of me going to school was slim to
none. Woke up Monday, and felt ten million times better.
Um, I wish. Yeah I felt once again worse. Throat, chest,
and head became worse. This time went to Redi-Med. Things
weren't supposed to get worse! This doctor thought that I also
had acute sinusitis. But he also though that I had strep
throat. What a freakin combo! He told me to stay on the
meds and I should feel much better soon.
Woke up Tuesday, and things grew complicated. Yes, more complicated
than things already were. I had tremors and dizziness to add to
the list of "Things wrong w/ Katie" list. Another trip to good
old Redi-Med. This time the doc says I am having an "adverse
reaction to the medication". So the antibiotic I was on provided
me with convulsions and dizziness. And the doc said that
decongestant I was on triggered them and made them worse. On top
of that, the doctor said that tomorrow is going to be the worse day!
Hopefully I will make it to school tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.
p.s. I miss everyone!
p.p.s. I miss school (weirded out)
