I have decided I live in a reasonably decent neighbourhood. My package from Amazon arrived today and the postie, in all his wisdom, left it lying on my front step. I'm sure it had been sitting there for hours before I got home, with the Amazon.com branding so obvious I recognised while sailing past on the bus. Considering that I couldn't leave my wide-load jeans on the washing line in West End without them being nicked, it's nice to have my new books and Smallville season 5 arrive unmolested.
Of course, now I have so much to read and watch and not enough hours in the day. Woe is me.
