Suncorp Stadium Climber

Does anyone know the identity of the brave soul who pulled this off?

She sounds like the kind of person who I really ought to be hanging out with!

unregulated high risk activity

This is actually illegal? I thought perhaps trespassing might be on the cards here, but the fact that this is actually illegal makes me very fucking mad. What the hell kind of fucking country do I live in?

Yeah its pretty damned lame that she got charged. I have climbed a lot of random stuff in Brisbane and gotten away with it. That jogger was a bloody busy body.

Hah, I didn't see you commented on exactly the same phrase as I did for the same reasons.

Hopefully there's some limitations on this offence, like it has to relate to government owned property or something, but I have a sneaking it fear it may not.

Annoyingly, I can see how it could be used against parkour fun. :(

I was about to say that I guess it's not as bad as it initially sounds, but dammit! We live in a police state!

Did someone say internet censorship?

It is going too far, yet power always corrupts.

And my interpretation, that it had to be unlawful before it the section applied, may not be true. I'd think so, but I read so many poorly drafted Acts I can't help but wonder.

Good thing is, I make films. Section 14(2)(b) is my new friend. :)
