I made an Australian based community, but for those who don't want to hear about it on your friends page I have put it under a link to minimize the annoyance :)
I created a fun way for Australians all around livejournal to get to know each other.
ljgames_au is an online interactive game played on livejournal.
Basically you compete against other players in mini games and activities until there is one ultimate winner who wins 6 months paid livejournal time.
It is just a fun little time filler, but it is in its fifth season and past players have already formed new friendships and come back to play again and again. So I must be doing something right...right? lol
The game is focused around Australians having a fun way to meet each other, but there are a couple of international players that I have accepted because we needed the numbers (and they are nice people anyway) but most are still Australian and once the community gets a little more known I would love to have all-australian games.
So whether you want to join to meet new people or you just love some competition, I'm sure you will have some fun :)
