May was the month of reading! I read about 7 books that month!
The Mysteries of Pittsburgh: This book took me a long time to finish. I was busy with a lot of things during the semester and would put it down often. I think I actually started this book last summer. I finally got around to finishing it last month. I would recommend it, if only a little. During most of the book I didn't really care for Cleveland, but towards the end I wanted Art to get with him. :P
The Hunger Games: This book was great. Seriously, if the Hunger Games were real, it would be my favorite show ever. Even though the book has multiple grammatical errors, I would definitely recommend it. It is easily the best book of the series. And when Katniss screamed Peeta's name after the rules changed, my heart did a backflip.
The Long Walk: This book was the first I have read by Stephen King and I greatly enjoyed it. At first I thought "how interesting would a long-ass book about a walking competition be", but it definitely kept my attention. I think this is a great book and would definitely recommend it to anyone. PS, my favorite character was McVries!
The Running Man: I didn't really care for this book. When Richards finally got on the show, between the Hunters and the vicious public, I knew it would only end one way. However, it was pretty interesting but I wouldn't recommend it.
Catching Fire: This was definitely boring. The only good part was all of Part 3, and every other scene with Peeta. And goodness gracious, Finnick Odair. :3
Mockingjay: I wasn't too interested in this one either. I was waiting for Peeta to return and when he finally did, my heart sank. And then he started hitting Katniss with these cutting exchanges and I loved it. When he was saying how much he didn't want to be in that apartment in the Capitol, I almost cried. Almost.
