On my birthday
Would you like to know what I did today and yesterday? Yeah? good.
Yesterday I worked. We got book shelves so I did the organizing and cleaning out that I should have done when the session started. Went over what I'd have to teach this week. I watched the snow. Then, I went to Desarang with L and N and we ate chicken. Then L went to her room and N and I went and got icecream. Then N gave me a gift. Or, several small gifts actually, and a very nice card. ^_^
Then I went and got the stuff for making my birthday cake and N and I went to the food room and she put in Live Free or Die Hard and I went about making my cake in a toaster ovan. Fun! There was also Jack Daniels, which we discovered is fantastic with mango juice. Then the cake and the movie was over and I wen to my room and chatted and then went to sleep.
This morning I woke up and talked to my family. Then I went to Seoul and bought some winter clothes. Namely a warm scarf, a winter coat, and some winter boots. Ok, also a sweater and turtleneck. Then back home where I've basically messed around philosophising, wandering around inside my cluttered mind, and uploading cds.
So, I'm 25. I've lived in 7 states, and visted at least 40. Been to six countries and three continents. I have a degree (and almost another smaller one). I live on my own. I've dealt with lots of my issues. I'm proactive about living. I'm healthy. All in all I think I've had a decent run for a quarter of a century. A bit on the lonely side, but still a decent run. I hope the next quarter of a century makes this bit look rather sad. Hope the next bit is fantastic.
