Some Final Words Before I Leave...
This will be my last entry from the US for the next 3 1/2 months. In 19 hours, I'll be on my way across the Atlantic Ocean. For over a year I've been waiting for this day...and now it's finally here. I'm feeling a million emotions at once: Some nervousness, but mostly excitement.
Last night I spent endless hours packing, and I somehow did manage to fit everything in my suitcases, plus some extra space. My plane was at 7:30am, so I didn't really get any sleep. While both my flights went well, I was horribly cramped the entire time, so I didn't get much sleep there either. After getting to Boston, I picked up a few things at CVS and ate at a restaurant alone (I don't know any other students who are in Boston yet). Right now I'm at the very nice and expensive Marriott hotel. My flight got in fairly early, so it was nice for me to get the evening to relax in the hotel. Unfortunately, the internet's a bit slow so I'm rather impatient with it. Anyways, I'm just about to head off to bed; it's fairly late and I have to get up pretty early to catch breakfast and get to my pre-departure meeting on time.
I'm not sure when I'll be able to do my next update...hopefully by Friday or Saturday, we will see. Hopefully there should be no problems with setting up the internet. By then I should already have plenty to say. Btw, thank you to everyone who commented in my last entry. I appreciate the flood of replies and I think I'll find all the advice to be very useful. :)
