Hurray for Tattoos!

Saturday was my sister's bridal shower. As the Maid of Honor, I was the hostess. The theme was set as the Italian Countryside and we had the shower outdoors so we decorated our patio all nice. The food was good and the games were fun, even though we ran out of time to play them all. My sister got some really nice presents and I think she's quite happy about that. As a whole, the shower went well and I think everyone had fun. I was certainly exhausted afterwards. For the shower, I learned to make Italian Cream Sodas, and I'm still happily sipping on those. :)

Right now, I'm extremely happy because I finally got my tattoo today! It's a Celtic dragon (which is something I chose because I'm part Irish and the year of the dragon) on the right side of my upper back and I love it. The artist was very experience and he definitely did an excellent job. The process took about a half hour, and yes it did hurt. But what hurt more was knowing how much money was going to disappear from my bank account. I knew beforehand tattoos were expensive, and while I should be saving money for Europe, this is something I wanted for a while, and I couldn't wait for another year. Anyways, the price was $100 plus a $10 tip, which isn't too bad considering the design. Pictures will come soon, I promise....I just haven't taken any yet. Everyone says tattoos are addicting, but I haven't decided my opinion on that yet. I might want another in the future, but I don't know for sure. If I do get another, it probably won't be for another several years.
