back home
The summer is finally over! I was gone for almost 3 months this time. Much longer than in 2004. I had so much more fun though. Everyone in the corps was really awesome. It was cool to actually have friends in hornline, guard, and drumline this year rather than just hornline guys. Every section really came together as a corps. We finished in 7th place at Finals, which tied last summer's placement. I feel a lot better about this year though because our hornline was so much improved. I can't wait for the November camp and to get started on the 2006 year! I have lots of funny stories which I will probably end up telling to everyone at different times.
I came home with my parents and sister from Finals. It was nice to fly alone like normal. I got home and there was a bazillion emails and stuff. Holy freaking crap! Then Becca came over and I spent the evening with her :) State Fair today, I believe. It's nice to not really be too rushed to do all this stuff before I leave for college, like last year. It will be interesting living at home this year.
My parents completely changed my room and it is really sweet now. So much different than before but I think I like it. Alright, deuces.
