This week went decently. I would rate my work in the class room as mediocre at best, but atleast I'm getting it done. Still a ton of stuff I need to do before I leave for Crown on Friday. Last night me and Jett went to see the play at AHS and then we hung out at Steak N' Shake. I went back to school and went with Amanda and Michelle to the Phi Mu party for a little bit. Most of the people there were like 21-23, but still pretty cool. I really didn't have a lot in common with them so we left and went to Steak N' Shake (again). Today Jon is taking our unit to Ci Ci's Pizza. It is kind of odd because we did unit stuff almost every other week during first semester and this is really the 2nd unit activity of the semester. Anyway, I will miss all the Butler kids but I guess you could say I have gotten used to saying goodbye.
Last concert of the year! Everyone needs to come. I'm in the choir and we're singing with the Butler Symphony Orchestra. Sunday 3pm at Clowes Hall. It's FREE! We are singing Sea Symphony by Vaughn Williams and Symphony of Psalms by Stravinsky. It's going to be REALLY cool. Seriously, a lot of the music we do at Butler is really abstract and horrible, but this stuff is so awesome. So rich, so lush... like taking a bath in chocolate. Speaking of food, my parents sent my my care package for finals and I tore into it minutes after picking it up. I have already destroyed a bag of skittles and a bag of cookies. It's the "energy" care package, so it's all sugar stuff and the bucket it came in is really cool too. It's like a white bucket with "ENERGY" written on the side with all these completely random and sarcastic illustrations. Yep. Well, the shower calls my name.
