five dogs, nine hours...not bad
The grooming shop is open...
Kiwi and Bubbles were over yesterday for grooming. Roux and T came too. Roux just visited. T hung out and had dinner. Kiwi needed a hygienic trim of the appropriate parts before her puppies came. They were due next week. Apparently we were just in time with the trim!. Today she presented T with eight puppies - six boys, two girls/six blues, two fawns. Three hours of baths and drying/brushing for the two of them.
Today I did Brin, Colton and Marcus. Washed in that order, then dried/brushed in reverse order based on which one would dry the fastest. Six hours total today between the three of them. More than half of today's time was Brin since last week I skipped baths due to the Columbia Cup. I always end up paying the next week. You'd think I'd know by now. He has more than twice the coat of any of the other dogs I groom. it's a bit scary really. I shouldn't tell people what it takes to groom him since the other four beardies I groom regularly take so much less effort.
My shoulder is pretty sore at this point....
