Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Clause ...

I woke up this morning because my dog was going banana sandwich in the living room. I had woken up an hour prior and when he wouldn't stop I grumbled out of bed because I needed to take the recycling to the curb anyway. However when walking into the living room to yell at him to stop I realized it was because the entire top floor my my neighbors house across the street was ingulfed in flames. So ... they have shut down our road and for the past three hours every fire truck in the township is outside with the flashing and the noise. After my momentary concern for the numerous pets I know live there and the 5 beastly children ... I exclaimed to the world "Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Clause and he lives and he lives and he lives!"

Why?
"Why did you say this," you may ask.

It is because lately, random things have been happening in my life THAT if they kept going this way and I was any other person I would seriously be convinced God was real.

"So ... you are happy your neighbors house was on fire?!?!"

Yes!
(no no - don't judge)
We (the other people that live in this area) have been trying to find a reason to get rid of the welfare wombat community that lives there for years! Truth be told I'm not surprised they didn't find a meth lab in the basement. I live in a rural area where you used to NOT have to worry if you left your car unlocked or your doors open. It was nice and quiet with good people who would help you with anything. UNTIL these people moved in. Since people have broken into our cars and have been lurking on our property twice. It is a three bedroom house with at least 15 people living over there last time I took count. If you want to be loud and roudy every now and again, no one here will notice BUT everyday and with our windows closed we can hear you yelling at your bad ass kids. No - that won't fly.

They are from the inner city and left because one of her kids was shot. The kids are totally out of control and we have called the police on them numerous times because their three year old was out on the road. Mind you, even though it is rural, you are taking your own life in your hands when you check the mail and if you walk on our hill. It is a two lane steep curvy cow road that connects two highways out here so everyone uses it for a short cut. Every year we have at least five people loose control and try to wrap themselves around polls, and two years ago another high school kid lost his life here. It is no joke. Plus these people have more traffic in their driveway everynight than the local 7-11. They have called the police on US many many times, to no avail because we know the police they know we aren't crazy.

Karma is a bitch.
End of story ...

Eventually I hope I can get out of my driveway today though because I need to go to the store.
