so today was the first day of classes. i attended a class that i won't even be taking this year. i realized while chatting with paul tonight, during the football game and after a few beers, that i needed to complete my breadth requirements. so i needed some science classes. i dropped my two law classes this year and am now taking a first-year biology and second-year earth sciences class. both are dvd-to-you and with paul, so it will be nice having to be at school 3 hours less each week. my other classes start next week, so it should be interesting to see how they all look.
i had my interview with mr. bifolci at NHS on wednesday. this semester i will be ass't teaching gym with bif. and political science with mr. goodsir. each thursday morning. i also get to ass't coach the boy's hockey team, and they're supposed to be very good this year, so it'll be fun...maybe another city championship??
with school, volunteering and coaching, work will be trimmed down a little this year. i'll still be at sears for between 20-25 hours a week, but it won't be anything like the 30+/week i was doing last year.
to top it all off, these marks are the ones that will count for my teacher's college application which i will be submitting next november.
and you can't forget i want to party a lot more this year...hopefully it all works out. well, off to bed. work at 9.00am tomorrow. cheers,
chris
