first week of summer...good times
Well...besides the fact I have been unsuccessful in getting a new job for the summer pre-hockey camp, I really enjoyed the first week of summer vacation. Worked full-time hours at Sears, hung out with some friends who are home during the week, got some time in at the driving range and figured out my hockey situation for the summer. I'm playing with some of my dad's work buddies at 7.30am (ouch) on Friday mornings until August. Early start, but the price is soooo right. Joined a new gym on Monday, so I'm hoping to be pretty rigid about getting in there at least 3 times a week.
Friday was a successful day...probably one of the most enjoyable days this year. Hung out with Erica during the morning and had some great BBQ burgers for lunch, hit the gym, mom's birthday dinner and then saw some people I missed a bunch this year at Erin E's and then had a great time at the 'deck, I mean Pier 21. There were an insane amount of NHS grads there...so much like last summer, although I don't figure it will last. Driving Moira's Envoy was pretty exciting, and what a scene at the schwarama place. Home at 4am, worked at 9.30am...just like old times. Cheers,
