He doesn't even need to check the caller ID. This call, he's been expecting.
"Hey, Angie," he says, putting his hand over his other ear to buffer out some of the background noise of the airport terminal.

"Where are you?"

"Did you get my note?"

Angela pauses.
"What's going on, Jack?"
Reply
"It's just something that came up--kind of short notice--that I need to get taken care of."
"I'll explain everything once I get back. In great detail. I promise."

"I mean, this is a little . . ."
Weird. Erratic. Bizarre. Frightening.
"What's so important it couldn't wait till I got home?"

The flight information Hodgins has been waiting for finally scrolls up onto the screen.
"Angie, I need to go. They're starting to board. I'll see you this weekend, okay?"

No, not okay.
So very, very not okay.

Hodgins quickly closes his phone before Angela can ask any more questions, and gathers up his carry-on.
Hopefully he'll be able to bring something back from this trip that will offset the amount of music he is fixing to face on his return.
