Rock the 40 oz
Not sure if I said this but on Tues for cinema club Garys movie didn't work so we showed Blue Velvet, a good pick by us. Well its on the top 100 list and great great movie by David Lynch. If you don't know Lynch his films are very surreal and don't add up or follow a stable plot ect. Blue Velvet follows a plot but is still dreamy and surreal. He exploits a boys journey into the unseen, stuff hidden from him, led by sexual desires. It does have violence, but its all in a sexual way viewed by the boy age 20 or so. At first people were laughing at then, the yelling at the screen and saying what the fuck. They hated it. Girls were slamming doors and yelling I hate this fucking movie. Lauren and I both felt bad because we make videos and if people can't take a well respect great movie how would they take our stuff thats just like it. I don't fucking care, what I make is for me and for a portfolio.
