today was pretty chill

Ahhh, today. I was back in the Bruns for the day. I went up and back on the train(s) and seriously NJ Transit was having some major issues. The signal system for the Riverline wasn't working for a little while, so they stopped the cars about 3 stops out of Trenton for a good half hour so I missed my connection. Honestly, I wasn't that upset about it. I was however annoyed y all the people I was stuck on the train with who were very angry about it. Grumpy men talking very loudly about how "they take your money and then can't get you to the place on time." I mean seriously? Build a bridge and get the fuck over it. You bitching isn't changing the situation. You bitching isn't moving us any faster down the track. The workers were doing the best they could under the conditions, and handling the people really well. They were obviously trying and being patient, and asking for patience in return. They apologized, a lot. Whining doesn't help! I think I'm still stuck in the Costa Rica mentality of "pura vida." :)

Anyway, when I finally got to the university I had lunch with a sick Kristin, and then I went to hand in my apartment key to housing and cancel the housing for next semester because I'll be studying abroad. Also, I had a bunch of books to sell back, and this kid in our hall works for a buyback company so instead of braving the bitter cold he came right to my room to buy the books back! Talk about convenience! And I got $87 for them, and I still have 3 books left to sell.

Anyway, that's all for now. My day wasn't very eventful.
