Tch.

I'd expect that from you and the leech. Neither of you have any faith in true genius.

But this time, I'll show you! I'll show you and Azmuth that I'm worthy of the Ultimatrix! I'll finally free myself from this wretched condition and have my true potential back!

*With that, he slams down the face of his new Ultimatrix prototype...which promptly explodes into a shower of shrapnel and smoke.*

*The air around Myaxx wavers as the shrapnel bounces off the invisible force field she managed to raise just before the Galvan-turned-Human slammed down on the prototype's faceplate.*

*Unlike their employer, Myaxx is actually capable of concern.* You still breathing there? *she asks, wading through the smoke to where Albedo had been standing.*

*yes, he is. breathing and seething... And embarrassed.*

*cough*

Yes. Though I wish I wasn't.

You're not going to let a little setback like this stop you, are you?

*He scowls, his singed face looks very displeased.*

Of course not! I just need to recibrate the central power core.

Well, looks like you have everything under control then. *whether or not she is sarcastic is up for debate*

Yes, I do.

*No, he doesn't. He just doesn't want to look like he doesn't in front of her, though it may be too late for that.*

Of course you do. *She's not altruistic in any sense of the word. While she won't flat out refuse to help him, she's not about to volunteer.*

Indeed.

I think I should maybe incorporate a taedenite element to act as a conductor in the power core. The genetic structure of living stone might be a more capable...and flexible base for a device such as this.

celadon_skin May 10 2010, 14:10:04 UTC
And you're going to get the funds to acquire said taedenite how?

Perhaps I won't need to. Perhaps I will trade my services for a small fragment of it. I heard the black market on Earth has a small supply of it, which is more than the rest of this spiral of the Milky Way does.

Or perhaps I shall find an anonymous benefactor!

I can't decide if your optimism is precious or pathetic.

I assure you it is the former, though I am sure this body makes that less apparent.

Pathetic or precious, your ego is very reassuring.

Why, Thank You!

I am glad you agree.

*He hasn't changed that much, it would seem.*
