Life's Curveballs
1. I got a new job! Starting at the end of May, I'm going to be a children's associate for the summer only at one of the libraries I currently work at. My schedule is going to drastically change and I'm going to be using my brain a lot more than I currently do. Plus, summer reading in the kids area is exhausting. But Yay job!
2. My husband and I will be closing on a house at the end of June. Then we're goign to spend two weeks fixing it up (taking down wallpaper and paneling to do drywall instead; tearing up the carpet so we can enjoy the hardwood underneath) So my next couple months are going to include determining if I really need all my notes from high school or that book I bought and haven't read in five years... Cleaning, donating, and packing essentially.
3. My brother got a new job! ... In southern Texas... like... ten miles from the border in one direction and ten miles from the coast in another. That's really far away from Chicago. His job starts in June so once he graduates from college in a week or so, I need to see him.
4. My parents are selling their house a town over and moving to Indiana to be closer to my dad's job. He had hoped to transfer back to Chicago, but after two years, it hasn't happened.
These are all very new and exciting and good things. The problem is, they are happening all at once. What this means for me... my tagging may be inconsistant. If I don't have the brain to tag, I'm not going to. I shouldn't need to hiatus yet... and I'll be sure to let everyone know if I do. But don't get upset if you see me tagging one thread and not yours. Some threads are just more natural... and some characters are more natural. I can tell you right now, Martha is way easier for me than Mal typically. Also, if I don't get back to you in a while, poke me. There's a chance my trigger finger accidentally deleted your tag on my smart phone while I was at work. Doesn't happen often, but I fell so guilty when it does.
Furthermore, because of this and due to the fact that I think I'm the only one interested in Peter Pan, I'm dropping him as well. I adore my little man, but I find it hard to mae activity with him. And just in general, I think now that he's not shiny and new, peopel just find him annoying. Which he kind of is...
Anyway TL:DR RL is exploding so I may be inconsistant. Also Peter Pan is disappearing. It doesn't mean I love you all any less.
