Okay, I was very pleasantly shocked to hear this
coming out of my car radio about 15 minutes ago.
And even more pleased when I realized they did a fairly good job of not making any vidders sound like fringe lunatics (like I was immediately half-scared would happen as soon as I realized what the segment was about). Overall, a bit too short and marginal, but even-handed and surprisingly.... respectful? of vidders and the amazing things they do.
(Props to Francesca, Rachel and Lim! Ya'll rock and always have!)
*One note: The audio link included is currently incorrect. It's playing the clip that aired immediately before the "Vidders Talk" clip. Hopefully NPR will get that fixed soon, but the text of what was said is mostly there on the page.)
