Went to the Ren Fair.
Yesterday we went to the Souther California Renaissance Fair and had pretty fantastic day. My friend Rachel works there and was able to get us in for free which was awsome. We woke up around 7:00 got there around 8:00 shopped around while waiting for them to open and then mingled.
There was a bit of drama during the day, but we still managed to have a great time.
It was a pretty big fair and lots of cool people and lots of alcohol. :) I am actually thinking of trying to work at King Richards Fair this fall back in Mass. It seems like it would be an awsome job.
And instead of doing my normal dress as a royal I decided to try and swing a gypsy costume this year. I think it worked out well. Actually it was probably better than my other costume. It still needs some work and stuff, but it will be amazing when I'm done with it. I met a lot of new people, got molested by some of them, got quite drunk, teased Rachel at the dunking booth, got balls thrown at me...ahh it was fun. Although I should've put more sunblock on cause I am burned reallllly bad. It hurts like hell too. Sams mom gave me some aloe and shit though...love that stuff.
So the end of the day kind of stunk though. Rachel lost the keys to the car and we ended up having to call AAA which took a bit and it actually got quite cold by the end of the night, though it didn't ruin the day at all really. We were all just tired and sore. Damn corset...so gorgeous, but my God you cannot breathe in those things! How women back then did it every damn day I don't know. Lol.
