(no subject)
Back from Ireland yesterday and now we're just going to kind of bum around for the remainding days of my vaca. It was fun though. Ireland was beautiful and everything I thought it would be. We explored a bit in Wicklow, Trim and Dublin of course. Wicklow was boring, but beautiful, just a nice quiet little town surrounded by green hills and ocean. Trim was full of history and was also very pretty. We saw Trim Castle which was one of the castles used in Braveheart, an old hospital of St. John the Baptist, an old cemetary and a Cathedral, well the remains of it.
Dublin was really nice. Loud and noisy, but nice. They were doing a lot of work on the city and it was crowded as hell, but there's just so much there to see. We didn't get to do as much exploring of Dublin as we would have liked, but I plan on coming back as soon as I possibly can. When we left it almost felt like leaving home. The people were so nice and you just feel comfy wherever you go.
I think the best thing about it was this small bar called The Cobblestone. Every night they have live traditional Irish music. The three guys (well two guys and one very androgynous male?) were brilliant! Got a bit on tape and can't wait to show everyone. It was great though and of course being able to drink was fun too. *winks*
So now we're back. *sighs* And there's lots I have to think about. I'm not going to say too much in here cause I do not want to hurt anyone...especially those who shouldn't be in here, but do anyways.
When I figure everything out I will let you know in what I am sure will be the longest update ever. But for now I need to do some thinking.
