whine.....
Well, I managed to stay healthy for 3 weeks. That would be a record for 2006. Too bad i couldn't keep it up. I've caught another bug just in time for Mardi Gras weekend. I have been looking forward to this weekend for MONTHS! I got sick on Wednesday and then it really hit me on Thursday. The ironic part of the situation is that i still went to work because I can't afford to take sick time. So here I am, running a fever of 102 sitting in the back room starring at the white wall and shivering my ass off even with 2 shirts, a coat, scarf and a heater running at 80 degrees. Talk about 4 hours of torture! The ironic part is that it's the medical department....that's the last place a sick employee should be going to work. I stayed half a day then went home and died. I felt a little better on friday morning so i went in for another half a day and came home and died again. Today i'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. woohoo. By tomorrow i'll probably be functioning again....just in time to miss marti gras fun. sad. I think i've decided i prefer strep throat over the common cold. Strep throat sucks...but i can't take this coughing shit. I'm suprised i haven't ruptured a lung yet....
