All for Les...

So, here we are... A month later, and so much has happened. I really think that I need to be more disciplined about this updating, but you know, what can you do...

So- a couple general announcements:

1) I'm going to college! I've decided take American up on their offer, and spend four years in our nations capital, studying as an Honors Student at American University!

2) G-ma (Grandma for those of you not cool enough to figure it out) is now here... In other words, the NONSTOP madness that is my little brother's Bar Mitzvah has officially begun!

3) It's Spring Break! I'm really busy... Living it up, ignoring my work... You know, the essentials of life.

4)We are officially in the last 10 weeks of my high school career. So weird to think about, but yet, so comforting at the same time.

Okay- now that everyone knows about my life nowadays... Here's an update on Spring Kallah this past weekend.... (Ps- This is totally dedicated to Les, the reason why I am up late doing this)

Friday
After deciding at the last minute, I slept in and skipped Gov, Gym and Physics... So nice! Daddy took me to the 'Bucks and dropped me off at TBK. We boarded the bus and headed to Buffalo, where my bus buddy got on.(A.Ro) After lunch with the gang, we headed off to Hamilton, and then to Solel!

After hugs all around, we all headed back to Kalie's house... What a great house, it was fantastic! (Kalie, Hannah, Lindsay,Carly, Hannah, Sarah, Emily, Wendy) We chilled, had dinner and headed back for services.

I sat with Mike, Les and other assorted staff (plus Kwame) during services, where we continued our tradition of disturbances during prayer. Intro's were mega fun, and took mega forever, as we introduced pretty much everyone there! Programming confused most of the region I think, so we quickly moved on to a really fun dance session, which was tres difficult in my four inch heels and skirt.. But you know, we make do! The evening was capped with a freakin' HYSTERICAL conversation with Boo, Shelley and Laura that I refuse to ever repeat... Beautiful!!!

Back at the house, HMo and I chilled a lot, chatted, looked at pictures and all that good stuff. Then I got a chance to chat in the fridge room with the Morman sisters, and that was fantastic. Eventually, we ended up falling asleep in Kales' basement...Just perfect.

Saturday
After early wake up, we rushed over for services, where i helped to direct traffic with Zachie, "lead the masses" with Sarah, Medicate the sickly with Boo and Hannah, monitor the use of play-dough with Mike, color-coordinate lunch with Laura and the Sisterhood Women and pray with Jeremy Gimbel. Then we took an all event picture on the stairs, which was FANTASTIC! And yes, if you think I helped to orchestrate that... You'd be right. After a rousing, and harmful game of frisbee... We headed in for lunch!

Then came the cooking! It was great to get down and dirty in the kitchen with everyone... Doing everything from chopping mushrooms, to spreading garlic, to cleaning the peppers. I did manage to fit in a food fight with Jake, an intellectual discussion about his writing skills with Mike (after covering him in garlic), and some really meaningful moments with my favorite... Alex Rogers. Hannah Mormer and I pulled a moving strike, and crimped on the floor, until we were yelled at.

After our bus back... It was... CAKE TIME! Long story short, Melissa Goldman is the most incredible regional director, and person you will ever meet. All I have to say is... "Happy Retirement Tony, Congratulations! It's a Frog!, Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, We all love cake, Let's eat! and Homeland Security 25 Anniversary!"

Free time was... I can't... I wont... And I think I am done...

The rest of the day was pretty peaceful... I had some pretty intense moments, things I dont think I'll be able to forget. Some interesting conversations, and some realizations that really just hit home. Not any of it stuff I particularity want to display here.. But just stuff... I will say this... Candles, stars, growth, power, inspiration, PVP pants...

Saturday night I spent with Lindsay... It was good, we chatted seriously, which we needed. :)

Sunday
As we got to temple, and got ready to go, it kinda didnt hit me where we were going. I helped to pass beads out with boo, and then did Senior Circle with her. What an incredible feeling.

The bus ride home is a memory that will always be with me. Life comes full circle, many times when you least expect it. I am so grateful to those who can open up, and be honest with their truest of emotions. Thank you to all of you who gave me a shoulder, and thank you for letting me be that shoulder for you.

I think that's all I can handle right now... Hopefully I'll keep this up though, we'll see...

Peace to you

EDIT: Anna Steinberg is cute... She brought me Hershey Kisses who's wrapping were maroon, and they were milk and dark chocolate with a taste of mint... Oooooo!

EDIT: Yes.. After lunch, the exec plus Mira, plus Laura, plus Jeremy led the NFTY Cheer. It was quite fulfilling.

EDIT: Les drove up, but he got on the bus before hand to say hi to everyone. As soon as he got on, we jumped on each other, and practically fell out of the bus hugging. It was adorable.
