Boredom and Litter Boxes
Man, I am effing bored. After having my mother stay here for an entire week, our apartment is BEYOND clean - every room! - and it feels like I don't have anything to do. (Of course, that's a lie; I'm just not ready to start on any of the projects I have lined up.)
While mom was here we did the whole baby registry business, which was mildly horrifying and utterly exhausting; we did some maternity shopping in preparation for my ballooning belly and the impending cold season; and we spent an entire day online shopping for a belated birthday present for Sean from my mom.
Mom wanted to get Sean something that would ease some stress in his life and leave him a little bit more relaxed when at home. After living with us for two days she came up with what she wanted to get him: an automatic litter box. Since I'm preggo, Sean has to clean the cats' litter boxes now, and he hates it more than anything in the world. So Mom decided to take this little bit of pressure away for him.
