Day Twenty three
Last nights post was derailed by LJ servers not responding.
Friday was a decent day. I didn't feel like running from the building. Lately I feel I am so tired with fighting the same old fights over and over again. I keep hoping that we will move faster than this but we do not. So very frustrating.
They are going to re-purpose two of my labs for production variant bursal production. They were measuring them today and asking what we were giving them so they would have to buy anything for the re-purpose. Our answer was nothing. We are currently using all of the equipment we have. I love the meetings were we talk about how much my division is worth to the company and then going back to the "trenches" and not be allowed to get the equipment we need and then to have them take third of my lab space.
On the great side of things the parts I order on eBay arrived and the control module is for a Jetta not a Beetle but its the same function and hook ups so I installed it anyway. With a little filing of the plastic if fits just fine. It just looks a little weird because now the controls are recessed into the console. It however works like a champ! With everything fixed and functional it feels like a whole new car again.
