(no subject)
I don't have to really worry about who is reading these entries anymore. I read over the entries of LJs I follow but then I am at a loss of how to respond. Sometimes I just don't have anything worthwhile to say in these cases and I consider the same may be for any who still read mine.
I started this LJ so I could have a place to record things, where I could share without fear or discrimination. At the time I was younger and needed a safe place to vent where I wouldn't be judged in a derogatory manner. LJ is a place where people expect to rambly posts about nothing, or FEELINGS, or whatever DRAMA is going on in their life. I met some good friends back then through LJ but something happened and I didn't feel as safe sharing things anymore here. I stepped away for too long (sure, the DRAMA that caused me to RUN AWAY had left but so had some of the friendships I had made).
People can change alot in a few years time. I do not fault them for drifting away but it saddens me how lonely LJ has become.
