A Bit More Prepared (But Not Quite) XD;;;
Okay, I'm REALLY psyched. :D Went ahead and ended up doing the typesetting for those doujinshi fanbooks and they look AWESOME~. I only hope they look just as good in print. <3333
Also, went ahead and finally sent out the order for my ACen prints. Unfortunately, they're all going to be fairly large prints (11 x 14 on most and 12 x 19 on one). ~_~; There'll be a total of 13 different pics of fanart available as prints and around 5 prints each of them all. It seems like a total gamble anyway I look at it. This has cost me a little over 4 months worth of time and a decent amount of money and art supplies. Was it worth it?
Turning a bit of profit on the prints would be nice and if I can get some commissions going at the convention that'll be a big help too. The most I can hope for with the fanbooks is for people to actually buy them so I don't have to haul them back on the plane.
And cosplay! I have new cosplay in the works that I plan to wear at the convention. I won't be posting any "cosplay check" photos until it gets closer to the convention, and even then I'd prolly only do that if there was any intrest in seeing such a thing here. XD
A sidenote: The check that should come here was mistakenly sent to the parent's house (in another state) so I have my hands tied financially until it arrives here. You have no idea how much I want to go over to the print shop and have those books printed up tomorrow morning BUT I CAN'T. And the remaining money I had? It went to paying for the prints and buying mom flowers to be delivered the day before mother's day. And buying delivered flowers is TEH EXPENSIVE. Somehow a $30 bouquet becomes a $80-something bill. Gah.
