If doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is a definition of insanity, then I need to change how I'm dealing with Japanese lest I be considered insane.
Mid-term result: 18/81. (worth 20% of final grade).
Next lowest mark: 33/81. I'm rock-bottom of the class, and it's not by a small amount...
In-Class Composition: 33/100.
Next losest mark: 53/100.
And no, it's not simply about 'not coming last' or 'beating my classmates': coming bottom of the class when the median is 80% clearly indicates that not only is the course doable, but it's not really all that hard. I'm just not doing appropriate work.
