If only because I miss LT and Training so much.... :P
(incidentally, this is written from the perspective of when I left the LT, so please forgive my being out of date should things have changed from there. ;) )
1. Describe yourself in whatever way you feel appropriate (e.g. name, physical attributes, demographics, career, relationships, etc)
Jer-Lyn. I train the people of Armengar to resist their enemies, both the physical foes that abound and the enemies of Fear and Complacence.
2. Where is home?
Lost. The walls are gone, and much of my people have forsaken our Island. Home is where the children raise weapons against each other, constantly striving to better themselves in defence of ... I don't know any more.
3. Who is family?
Those of my blood: Armengarians.
4. What is your childhood trauma?
I don't understand the question?
5. Do you learn from your mistakes? If yes, what has been the most important lesson you have learnt?
The only mistakes I have made are allowing people to leave before they have learnt the lesson. That, and having favourites.
6. List the things (people, places, etc) you love most.
Armengarians. Armengar. Above all else.
7. List the things (people, places, etc) you hate most.
Calebii. Those not-human things that others claim are Armengarians. The loss of a soldier to political machinations.
8. Do you have blood on your hands?
I am Armengarian: of course I do, and I bear it with pride.
9. Who have been the most influential people in your life and why?
Malachi, who keeps me sharp.
Setanta, for keeping me alive.
Chareos, for reminding me that outsiders can find a way in.
10. What do you hope to achieve?
That I have trained my students sufficiently to outlive me.
11. What are you afraid of?
The complacence of my people; the belief that our enemies are gone, or somehow reduced; that those not of our blood are, somehow, our 'friends'.
12. What was the best thing to happen to you?
The lateral promotion to the training team.
13. What gets you through the bad times?
Malachi, whether I like it or not. And that I must.
14. What make the good times?
Every time the Calebi retreat having lost ten times, or more, of our losses. Hearing the young talk about the deeds of each other, acknowledging when they worked well together: knowing I have lived up to the task put before me.
15. What is the best thing you’ve ever done?
Every Armengarian who stands alive today because of their training.
16. Who would miss you if you were gone?
I think Malachi might miss the conversation. Other than that, I doubt I'll be missed. Those of us who push hard are seldom liked.
17. What in your life is worth dying for?
Armengar.
18. What in your life is worth living for?
Armengar!
19. Do you have a best friend/confidante? Who are they?
In terms of who dislikes me the least, that would be Malachi. I don't have the scope to have a 'best' friend, nor the inclination to have a confidante.
20. What do you believe in?
Duty; Freedom; Resilience.
Armengar!
