Ok, that comment was a bit facetious in all fairness as that movie is regularly listed in 'top 100 movies' and all that.

I agree that all the actors involved are (more or less) top notch, and I want to make it quite clear that I'm not criticising the acting.

The script, the direction and the cinematography, however, I am criticising ( ... )

At least your prof gave you some guidance on what you could write your papers on. In my history of film course, the prof just said "write an essay". (I ended up, rather randomly, comparing Expressionism in painting and Expressionism in film, not that I knew anything about any of it.)

Yeah, that blows.....

The course outline sucks for what we have to do, but the prof (in person) is totally awesome. :)
