ate strawberries
played violin in the sunlight
played guitar incorrectly in the sunlight and made my thumb bleed
insisted i was not sunburnt
(was actually sunburnt)
drank tea

sat down at 7pm to begin my (short 5-page) very last final paper which was due tomorrow at 1pm
(correct?)
BZZZZZZZZZ not correct.
paper was due at 4pm on this very today.
and while i don't need more than a 55% to get an A in this class
and while i have no reason to be worried about my grade
i feel like a fool
partly because i almost made it three years of university without handing anything in late, ever. (nerrrrrrd, you might say. at the grave risk of having me smack you upside the head with my gpa.)
partly because i wanted to ask that prof for a reference letter upon handing in my paper, and now i think she's left the country or something.
but mostly! mostly. because, if i had taken a look at my calendar before fleeing my again-buggy house, i could have written that sucker up last night, and been done school entirely by now.
but nope.
