Back to your regularly scheduled (and extremely cute) programming...
I really want to thank everyone for their e-mails and comments about the last post. I feel so much better now and it really did help me to realize that other people cared and understood what I was going through. Thank y'all so much, and I'm slowly getting around to responding to everything now that I'm not so overwhelmed.
And now, here are some things that have made me happy:

I love fat animals, especially kitties, and especially when they're asleep and cuddling something.
And my cousin sent me
You know how there are places where you can send them a picture of your child (or any child really) and they'll make a doll that looks exactly like it? Yeah, this is kind of like that, only adorable and not at all creepy.
Also, I refuse to be ashamed of the fact that everyone sends me pictures of cats to cheer me up.
I also came across this article which made me extremely happy. It's comforting to know that if I ever find myself knocked up and in a Missouri prison, I still have options.
Not that I'm hopeful or anything that Roberts might actually be a decent person and Chief Justice. I agree with the article's assessment that he's not ready to take a definite stand on the abortion issue yet. To be honestly, I can't bring myself to trust anyone or anything that bears the taint of the Bush administration. Bush is kinda like the anti-Midas; everything he touches turns to shit. A giant, steaming pile of shit.
It bothers me to see liberal/moderate people rejoicing over the Harriet Miers nomination simply because uber-conservatives don't like her. The only reasons they didn't like her were the facts that she was unknown and not a well-recognized member of their cult and the fact that SHE HAS A VAGINA!! She's a crazy bitch, just like all the other crazy bitches that are in Bush's orbit. See Karl Rove, Karen Hughes, etc... All crazy bitches. I think that's a qualification to be a Bush crony. Well, that and extreme loyalty. Bush: He's like the Church of Scientology in a way.
Ok, enough of a political rant. It's 5 am and I've already edited the above two paragraphs three times for coherency and to remove some visible frothing at the mouth type ranting...
I'm going to go lie down and watch Bodega Beats on imf because I'm totally going through an inexplicable reggaeton phase right now.
