Listening to the people in my office talk about swine flu as if it were some kind of imminent threat to humanity makes me want to SCREAM.
Here's an ACTUAL QUOTE from the idiot blabber mouth in the next cube.
"Well, I said to the nurse, 'my daughter has had a cold since friday, could it be the swine flu, should i take her to the hospital?' and the nurse says 'no, I'm sure she's fine, no need' and I say "But we have mexicans across the street! There are a lot of mexicans on our street!' "
I think I deserve a medal for not bashing that woman's stupid head in with my shoe.
I actually don't feel like listening to music right now, but my options are to either clap my head phones on and turn up the Bad Religion, or listen to these fucking morons yammer on like retards, further distorting and warping "facts" that are already sensationalized and blown out of proportion up by the time the average idiot reads them in the news paper.
