A day off with nothing to do
Well, I'm bored. Today is my day off, & I have nothing to do. I feel like having coffee with someone interesting, but Robert & I have been playing phone tag all day, & it's getting ridiculous. I'm going to try Tiffany. We haven't chatted for a while, & I miss her. She always manages to get my spirits up. Did I mention that she is also my muse? It's amazing, I always get very creative feeling when I'm around her. I may bottle her up & carry her around with me in my purse!
Yeah! I just got an IM from Robert! It was nice to chat, if only for a moment. We made a plan to talk again at 9pm. I'm in charge of recruiting Jamie to LiveJournal. Hehehe...
Anyway, boring day...
I am actually ready for school to start. It will give me something to do. But ask me again in 2 months if I'm still enjoying it!
I had lunch with my Mom today. We do that about once a week. If you told me in high school that I would enjoy spending time with my Mom, I would have told you to stop snorting the glue. But, I really do. We catch up on everything. I have really learned a lot about people from my Mom. Because if anyone has empathy coming out of every nook & cranny, it's her. She's an expert on people & how to handle certain situations with grace. My Dad is the expert on standing up for yourself & business & money matters. Between the two of them, they are the perfect person.
Could anyone ask for better parents?
Anyway, gotta go. I have lots of nothing to do.
