Idiot
I have to admit that I don't suffer fools gladly having met a great many during my occasionally bumpy passage to where I find myself today, so this one seemed apt. I use it when I or other people post about the idiocies they find around them. There seem to be just so many :o/
Vigee Lebrun
Elizabeth Vigée Lebrun is an artistic hero of mine. She was a great portraitist (this is a self portrait) and worked at the court of Queen Marie Antoinette of France (she who met a sticky end on the guillotine). Elizabeth escaped such an unpleasant end, however and finished her life in the US.

I used to love the whacky races and particularly Penelope. What could be wrong with a woman car racer even if she came out with the occasional hay-ulp when faced with Dick Dastardly & Muttley's latest evil plan! (thinks- must get a Muttley icon :o)

Well, I am after all, a a Brit and I am firmly of the opinion that if people would sit down and drink tea together many of the world's problems could be overcome
