Week one of college:over
Wow, it's kinda crazy to know that one week of college has already passed. To sum it up, it's been great.
My classes are going to keep me on my toes, and although I would rather just worry about my music stuff, it's going to be fun. I am really enjoying my Theory/Musicianship professor. He is totally awesome. He's really light-hearted and funny. He reminds me of Mr. Wolfe...just not German. haha. Piano is going to kick my butt if I don't stay on top of it.
On top of classes going well, the whole music scene is going great. Wind Ensemble is awesome, and I got asked to play in a graduate recital. That was an unexpected surprise, so I'm quite pleased. Everyone in the SoM is awesome.
Marching band...the end.
Also, I've met someone who totally 'rocks my socks off' as Lucy always used to say. He's a freshman here, and he's amazing. He can always make me smile/laugh and hes such a genuine, sweet, funny person. (not to mention hes hella cute.) He went with me and Mo yesterday to San Antonio. We got to see Asian and Lucy and Theresa and Camille which was super nice. Then Camille got us lost in San Antone (or Saytown) and after all of us complained about being hungry, we went to PF Changs. That was greeeeeeattttt. I had never been there before, so it was super good except for the fact that our waiter sucked.
Anywho, then we had a shopping experience at the mall! None of us found anything though, except we almost bought a steam iron. Then we went back to Cam's because Mo had to pick up some CDs she left burning for her. We hung out there for a while, and then Camille totally almost kissed monica. (okay i'm just being over-exaggerative, but still, it was hilarious!) and then took off for waco. phil offered to drive for monica, and that made me happy because she was really tired. Got back to waco, did some laundry, came back home and fell asleep.
Today has been a lot of catching up. I finished my religion and practiced piano, but i still have some musicianship to do and english. I have until Tuesday,so I'm not in bad shape at all. Monica wants to do something later, so we'll see what happens.
