its been too long.
i haven't updated in a while...if i'm going to keep a journal i might as well update it.
so.
exams are in full swing. 3 left-which sucks, but at this point i really don't care any more.
i've also decided christmas presents are being put on hold until AFTER december. i will have more time to devote to making/thinking about people. :)
since i should get back to studying soon, here are some updates in bullet form:
* i got a new car! i will no longer be known as the girl that drives the ford truck. haha. i have a '96 toyota corolla, and it's a champagne color. i love it. i actually have a backseat! the only thing- it doesn't have a cd player. my portable cd player is decidging to be a jerk and not letting me play my cds. so it's been a rough few days without my music. i need to fix the problem asap. other than that, it's a pretty sweet car :)
* on december 10th, the student film association (which i am VP of) had a HUGE concert at URI. 20 bands. 5 djs. 4 room. it was amazing. not only did we make money, but everyone had a good time. i think we will be doing it again in the future, but probably not as big. right now i'm trying to get another concert happneing in february. we shall see.
* on a side note to the concert, i had a party afterwards at my house, which was awesome. maine mike came down from ....maine! and he brought his band members with him. it was a good time. more parties will be at my house in the future...i can feel it. haha.
* filming for my movie is going to happen over winter break! that's right, the film that i am co-writing (and being in) is going to happen. if anyone wants to help out in any way (behind the scenes or in the scenes) let me know! we need all the help we can get. the script is almost finished-just a few touch ups then its good go! we'll be filming primarily in providence in the two weeks before uri starts up again. the film is wicked cool. promise. :)
so i guess that's it for right now. i need to get back to studying for french.
