(no subject)
all i have to say is- hooray for shopping :)
i went up to providence tonight, for the first time in a while...
so wonderful to be in a city again. sometimes i forget how much i love "city life".
so i definately went on a mini shopping spree today. first, we went up to Thayer street, looked around a little. stopped in Foreign Affair- and found this beautiful 1950's rich navy blue slip. the cut is incredible and when i tried it on, it fit perfectly. so i figured it was meant to be :)
after thayer, we went to providence place-primarily to meet karen and go to dinner. but...i had to take a quick turn in H&M. i spent approx. 15 minutes in the store and was able to try on 7 pieces of clothing and find 5 that i wanted.
i justify it by saying that my fall wardrobe is lacking. i also am planning on retiring quite a few pieces of clothing because i have had them for years.
and i also had some money to spend since i babysat thursday and friday night.

so all in all, it was a productive and fun evening.
ok, now its time to sit on the couch and watch SNL.
