yea, last night was the most fun i've had in a long time
ok so world/inferno was gonna play a show at the bottom lounge and it was 18 and over. this made me very sad. but then charlie told me this story about how last time he saw them he wasnt 18 so he made the band cookies, and he got in. so of course i had to steal this plan. so on monday i made these really yummy chocolate chip cookies and brought them to school the next day, with hopes that they would be given to the band and they would let me in, despite my under age-ness. so after school me and charlie were just wandering down belmont... and eventually ended up at chicago diner. we had like 2 hours to kill so we sat and ate and talked about random stuff. we finally left at like 6:15 and walked to the bottom lounge. by this time i was kinda freaking out like "im so not gonna get in" kinda stuff. charlie told me when he saw them he had to jump a fence to get in the back.. which i really didnt wanna do... im not one for jumping fences. well... we were waiting in line and a few kids charlie knew came out of this restaurant right across the street and came over to us and said "guess who we were just talking to?... world/inferno!" so charlie said we were gonna go over and give them cookies. so we went over to the restaurant and charlie just walked up to them and they totally remembered him! it was so cool. so he told them that i made them cookies and they told us to just chill in the back for awhile and they'd let us in through the back. so we waited in the cold for like an hour, accompanied by and extremely annoying light and arguing about flying cars and hover cars. after about 45 minutes i was really started freaking out that they just stole my cookies and i would have to go home. then the door opened and they guitar player, who hadnt been in the resaurant, said "what do you guys wanna sneak in?" and the accordian player (aka the coolest individual on the planet) was behind him and said we could come in now. he patted me on the back and was all "sorry are you frozen now?" but i was too happy to be cold at that point. so we went in and met up with charlies friends and were talking for a couple minutes and me and charlies friend bought shirts. 2 seconds into the first song i was getting knocked around but, decided just to ignore my slight clastrophobia and just dance like a crazy person. i was kinda smaller than alot of the people... and i was the youngest person there, which rocked. they played my favorite song second (zen and the art of breaking everything in this room) and i was screaming the words at the top of my lungs. when they played heart attack '64 all these couples started dancing together and charlies friend chris asked me to dance with him, and i did and it was awesome. the guy lead singer had insane red contacts and black lipliner stuff and kept saying stuff about beating people up and it was funny. the girl singer was REALLY HOT!!!!! she has a really pretty voice too. when they were done playing we decided to leave so we took the el and when i got to kellys house i ran around for about and hour and then crashed in the kid's room and fell right asleep. so yea... all in all this day really rocked, it was definetly the show i needed to see to make myself happier about things... yay!
