History/Bio: Brian was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. His mother died when he was five years old and he was raised primarily by his aunt while his father was at work. As Brian got older, he and his father spent weekends working on the family car. They were some of the happiest times of Brian's life.
Brian is extremely intelligent. He graduated valedictorian from high school and managed an academic scholarship to Carnegie Mellon University. He managed to make it through for two years before the stress of it got to him and he decided to drop out. Brian's father died shortly after and he found himself alone with no money. He needed to find a job. It was while getting his father's house ready for sale that he decided he really wanted to work on cars for a living. It was the only time he was really happy. So he applied and was accepted to DeVry university where he got his certification in automotive repair.
While attending Carnegie Mellon University Brian met and started dating Lindsay Peterson. He knew that being with a woman didn't feel quite right but he thought it was just that he hadn't met the right woman. Shortly after getting a job at a local garage, Brian asked Lindsay to marry him. Brian tried to convince himself he was happy, but nothing he did worked. While working on a car, the owner came on to Brian. The man didn't back off until Brian let him know that he was married but that was when realization struck him. He went to a gay bar that night and found himself in the back room with a man. It took him a week to finally get up the courage to tell his wife that he was, in fact, gay. But that time, the two had a son. Lindsay got primary custody of Gus. When the garage shut down due to a lack of business, Brian needed to find a new job.
An old high school friend called Brian from Evansville and told him about a job opening at a local garage. By the time Brian got to Evansville and got situated, the job had been filled, his friend unable to hold it for him. He had no choice but to try to look for other work. Brian searched the want ads and found an opening at a local facility for a vehicle maintenance specialist. He applied right away.

Brian put the picture in the box and closed it up, looking around one more time before he picked it up and started to load the truck he had waiting outside.
