blah blah server maintenance
so instead of finishing up the laundry or running to the store just yet...i'm going to continue to procrastinate and update my livejournal
i've caught a space plague from tom...nothing serious just lots of phlegm and a slightly sore throat...no big deal except that we're going to his mother's for christmas eve and i'm sure his sister in law will be there with her EXTREMELY (read: one week) new baby...not that i'm interested in holding or cuddling the baby (and i don't think tom is either, who also happens to still be sick), but new mom's tend to be uber insane about that shit and i really don't want there to be drama
my computer runs like a dream now...not only do i have shiney new innards in her tower, but a fresh install of a light version of windows xp pro...it's sort of weird to only see a handful of programs installed in this computer but it's def something i can get used to :)
the hoodie that tom got me for christmas came in the mail yesterday, it rules
and there's still one more gift apparantly, wrapped up under his mom's tree, from him
i still need to wrap gifts today too...ugh
of all the shit i bought, i'm the proudest of the gift i got mom...a sweet digital picture frame...i wanted to get her one with an internal memory, but after seeing the prices i ended up with one from walmart that was about 40$...tom bought her the mem card to go with it, 2g of memory, so she shouldn't ever have to delete any pictures off it...i have a feeling that she's gonna pretty much climb the walls from the excitement of this gift (note: she'd react the same way though if i'd have bought her a wheel of cheese)
speaking of cheese, me and tom's one year anniversary was this month (!)
and my cat is still getting fat
i miss alot of people, and i don't call any of them nearly enough (epic faaaaail)
