Because bri loves her some Criminal Minds...
Random observations on tonight's episode.
1. It can't possibly bode well for our beloved Reid when the episode starts with him in the middle of a nightmare on the plane, can it?
2. The second nightmare? The one with the leeches? May I just say an emphatic "EWWWWWWWWWWWW!" And while we're on the subject... if he's dreaming about something that happened when he was a very little boy (only 4 as we find out later), then why is he screaming for Morgan to help him? (Not that I don't love Reid screaming for Morgan to help him, because Lord knows I do... but it doesn't make much sense, does it?)
3. Little tiny nerdy Reid is *so* adorable! And how gorgeous is Diana? I mean, seriously.
4. "I'm sure none of us would think any less of you if you took some time off to get your head together." Firstly, GREAT line Morgan! Secondly... why the hell wasn't anyone saying that two years ago? Or is what happened two years ago the reason why Morgan's in such hyperactive "protect Reid" mode now?
5. "I've been here before..." Yup... it wasn't just the promo being cut for drama. That line really was haunting. On a side note - hallucinating while awake, Reid? So, so, SO not a good sign!
6. How much do I love Diana? Seriously. She's as worried about Reid having a break as he is, and every word out of her mouth speaks volumes to how much she truly, deeply loves him. Her son really is her entire world and is very much her heart. No matter how much strain her illness may have put on him when he was younger, how much it still does... she is a mother to the core and she would never EVER intentionally hurt him.
7. Reid saving Michael... HUGE sigh of relief. He was the one most worried about not being able to save him, and I'm so grateful to the writers for letting him be the one to actually do it.
8. NO FREAKING WAY! There is absolutely NO way, and I mean NO WAY, that the writers are going to do that to him! No WAY! He's been kidnapped, beaten (more than once), taken hostage (more than once), forcibly addicted to Dilaudid, almost blown to Kingdom Come by the Fisher King (all because of letters he'd written to Diana), abandoned by his father and raised by a schizophrenic mother. No WAY is his father a child molester and murderer! NO WAY!
Now, I guess we just have to wait until next week to see whether or not I'm right, don't we?
