I live in Illinois!

Illinois! Not California! If we do have earthquakes they're few and far between, not 6 in less than six hours!

Starting at 4:36am, we've had six earthquakes so far today. That first one measured 5.2 on the Richter. A little over 20 minutes later, there was another one that measured 2.5. Fifteen minutes later, another 2.5. Thirty minutes after that one, a 2.2. One hour and ten minutes after that, a 2.6. And exactly thirty minutes ago, we had a 4.5.

The almost scary thing is that these earthquakes are all apparently happening further up the fault line than the scientists knew it even extended, *and* this is not the New Madrid fault that we've all been raised to be aware and slightly afraid of.

The hubby just told me that we'll leave Illinois if we start having earthquakes all the damn time, and after having six in six hours... I'm almost thinking I agree with him.
