What is it about people...

... that makes them think that just changing the music and throwing a couple of "new" clips on top of an already existing vid makes it into a new one? Or makes it theirs? Or makes it anything other than a blatant rip?

And why do they try to deny it when they're caught red-handed?

Oh, yes, Ms. FU (and what a wonderfully appropriate last name you have, too...) I'm sure there's a mistake. I'm sure that I don't recognize those edits in that vid that I spent weeks making for my best fucking friend in the universe. I'm sure that you're just that damned good, and I'm sure you made it so fucking long ago that you can't remember how you did it.

Oh, no... wait, I've got it! I stole it from you, didn't I? That's got to be it! Because there's no one on the planet that's ever seen that vid, even though it's won awards and been played at conventions. And the person I made it for, the person whose name you cut out from the beginning... yeah, I bet she's never seen it either.

Fucking bitch!

Yeah, I get mad when people steal my vids in general, but you? You just stole one of the only two that can piss me off so bad I can't see straight.

You want to steal my shit? Yeah, whatever, it pisses me off, but so what?

You steal the shit I made for Pepper? Fuck you!

ETA: I've decided what I'm going to do, folks. I'm going to make a vid to that song, using Jack and Daniel, and I'm going to show her how it's *supposed* to be done.
