I just can't do it
So, I tried. I really tried. But when I came here and saw that Final Fantasy header, it just didn't feel like my LJ any more.
So, I'm back to Stargate. But... I'm back to the original, the best - the classic team. Seasons 1-3, when there was nothing in the world that could even compare. When Jack still cared about everyone, when the four of them were the best of friends, when they would each do anything to save each other.
When drama was drama, and the humor just happened, the way it does in real life - when humor is the only way to keep yourself from going insane.
When Jack was smart and Sam was strong and Daniel was innocent and Teal'c was devoted.
When team meant team.
Always remember, never forget. And if I have to live in a constant state of denial, if I have to pretend that canon doesn't extend past Small Victories, then I will.
And if fandom pisses me off so badly that I can't stand to be associated with it, then I won't. I'll talk to my friends, I'll avoid the places that irritate me - I'll make my vids and write my fics and make my wallpapers and maybe some more icons.
And I'll be happy.
