I like where you're going with this! I really, really like where you're going with this.

If Orli and Ziva actually did get as close as Orli said they did, and like Tony said, Mossad knows everything, wouldn't Orli have warned her? Couldn't Ziva and Tali have been in hiding, and Ziva sent Tali to the US with Orli to bring Tony back to her? Did she fake her own death because she knew that was the only way she'd ever be truly safe, but still find a way to bring Tony into her world?

Orli was talking about how upset Tali was, with everything she'd been through, with the explosion and the fire and Ima dying, but Tali didn't cry. Not once. Every time we saw her she was either sleeping, pretending to sleep, or smiling. No nightmares? No crying fits? Yes, she knows Tony is her Abba, but she wouldn't cry being around a stranger?

And Orli didn't say that Tali knew her mother was dead. She said that she knew her mother had "gone away."

Or maybe Orli isn't part of it. Maybe it's all Ziva. Maybe Tony listened to his heart, and realized that the part of him that knew she was still alive still felt it, and he just knows, somehow, that she's out there waiting for him.

Plus, right before they shot the shit out of Kort, Tony said, "She was my family."

And in the basement, Gibbs didn't say, "Take care of yourself and your daughter." He said, "Take care of yourself and your family," which really does imply that Tony's family is larger than one little girl.

I like your head-canon, and I am totally going to live there. Ziva is alive, and she's waiting for Tony in Israel, and then they're going to Paris to raise their daughter to be a ballerina.

I like this.
