Let's see, since the last time I put something here, what's happened?
Well, I graduated from college at the age of 40. I am now the proud owner of a Bachelor of the Arts in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. And I'm also the proud owner of a half-done Master of the Arts in the same.
I got a job. I'm an insurance appraiser now, of all things.
I've had five short stories published, and I'm still working on that first novel. (Which, let's be honest, I'll probably never finish).
One of my not!my!kids got married. Then divorced. Then told me that I'm going to be a not!grandmother. Which is really kinda weird. But pretty awesome, at the same time.
Nerdboy is a junior in college now. He's an Ancient History major. Mr. Universe is a sophomore in high school. Mojo's in 8th grade, and The Princess is in 7th.
I'm vegan. I was elected to my little bitty town's city council. I've somehow managed to become a hard rock fan, with a serious emphasis on Skillet and Five Finger Death Punch.
Oh, yeah. And I finally finished writing something. This one only took me 5 1/2 years, so I'm getting faster. :)
