Reasons why bri needs to stop getting bored

Reason #1: new header and layout! - Because I'd had the old one, what? Six weeks? At least? Obvs it had to go because it was old and stale.

Reason #2: random writings of a shameless fangirl - Yes, I finally went ahead and did that fic journal thing.

Reason #3: It's boring!

Reason #4: It's 2-in-the-fucking-AM! And I'm still awake!

Hey, don't knock yourself for the fic journal. Just don't make the mistake that I did and create a whole new one - though the new one even includes original writing.

Though I had someone tell me that the title to mine was pretentious. Eh. It's based on a quote from one of my favorite songs...and the fact that I love lilacs. ;-P

Why is it anyone's business but yours what you call your fic journal? See, now I think someone telling you that you shouldn't call it what you want is pretentious. :)

And I like lilacs, too. What's wrong with lilacs?

It was a total stranger - just someone who stumbled onto my journal. Thought it was kinda funny that someone would just stop by and say, "Hey, your journal name is pretentious." People are weird. ;)

And lilacs rock. They always smell like spring to me.

Well, that's just crazy. And intrusive. And freakin' rude.

The house I grew up in had a lilac bush right outside my bedroom window. I'd go to sleep with that scent every night and wake up to it every morning. I miss it. :(

I've been in a teal and grey mood the past few months, which is kind of strange, because I've always been an orange person. But I found this layout (which I might change, actually, if I can find one I like a little bit better), and then when I couldn't find a header I liked, I just thought, "Ya know, woman... you've done the graphics thing for a living. Make it your own damn self!"

So I did. :D
