Two questions that I think I know the answers to but want to clarify.
Q1:
In the sentence, "John ______ his flashlight across the vehicle...", would the missing word be "shined" or "shone"?
Q2:
John has nicknames for his children. He calls his son "sport," "kiddo," and "son." He calls his daughter "baby" and "pumpkin." I've forgotten if these need to be capitalized or not.
